Our Story
My Mod Home started with a personal journey when I imported an expander home from China and built it for my father-in-law to live in. That hands-on experience opened my eyes to the real-world challenges that Australian owner-builders face. The process, while rewarding, was filled with confusing regulations, endless paperwork, supplier back-and-forth, and far too many spreadsheets.
I saw firsthand how easy it was to lose track of important details, miss deadlines, or worry about compliance - not because I wasn’t trying, but because the right tools didn’t exist. And I met many passionate owner-builders along the way who were just as frustrated with the process.
That's why we created My Mod Home: a comprehensive platform built from hard-won experience, designed to take the stress and guesswork out of modular home projects.
